Quartermaster must be bonded with a copy on file at Department Headquarters by November 1, 2023.
All 4 properly completed trustee reports must be on file at Department Headquarters no later than May 15, 2024.
Post to participate in the Voice of Democracy (VOD), Patriot’s Pen (PP) and Teacher of the Year (TOY).
VOD & PP- If the post does not submit any entries, the post must submit a $50.00 donation for each program to the Department Headquarters which will count as credit towards All-State.
TOY – If the post does not submit an entry, the post must submit a $50.00 donation to State the Department Headquarters which will count as credit towards All-State
The Post must have at least one entry for Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen, or Teacher of the year. The Post will not be eligible for All-State by paying for credit for all three programs. (can pay 2 check payable to VFW MS)
Participation in all the 3 Commander’s Special projects listed below by May 15, 2024. Make check payable to VFWMS. Donate $100.00 or more:
Camp Shelby Youth Challenge.
National Children’s Home (Mississippi House). Money sent directly to NH will not be noted.
Veterans and Military Support – VMS donations made payable to VFW MS State HQ or Post can pay through National website and send copy of receipt to [email protected].
Post must participate in at least 1 membership recruitment event or 1 Yellow Ribbon Event by May 15, 2024. Documentation of the event must be sent to Department HQ to receive credit. (day, event, how many recruits and what was done to recruit)
Post must purchase 3 Buddy® Poppies per member (minimum order 500 per box) no later than May 15, 2024. (Auxiliaries are encouraged to purchase Buddy® Poppies however Post will not receive credit towards All American.)
Department must receive a community service report (CSR) each quarter. (Community Service online form) one each quarter due dates: July 15, 2023 – October 15, 2023 – January 15, 2024 – April 15, 2024 – June 28, 2024.
Post must input an election report to National Headquarters OR send to State HQ no later than May 15, 2024.
